Binance Hack: Around $2.8 Billion Drained From a Hot Wallet

On Thursday evening, roughly $2.8 billion left the Binance wallet “Binance 14” within minutes. The attacker had tied the wallet to their own contract via EIP-7702. Tether and Circle have frozen about $2.4 billion, and Binance says it is investigating.
