A shared picture built from public data, hosted and filterable, with clear notes on what each feed can and cannot show. It is built entirely from open sources, with no classified data.
Start with two or three layers. Add cameras, military ADS-B or conflict feeds only when the question needs them; a smaller set of layers is easier to analyze.
How to use this view
- Launch with flights, ships, earthquakes and news as a starting set.
- Switch off layers until the question is clear.
- Record timestamps and sources when you publish.
Data source, update rate, and limits
The same public feeds as the rest of GodsView: ADS-B, AIS, USGS, NASA FIRMS, news RSS and more. OSINT here means open collection from public sources. Pro adds conflict and geopolitical feeds, the Ukraine frontline (DeepState) and cyber threat feeds.
GodsView does not provide finished intelligence, sanctions screening or identity resolution. News is placed on the map by geocoding and can be off by a city or country. Analysts still need to verify and interpret.
Questions
Is GodsView an enterprise intelligence platform?
No. It is a hosted map of open data for research, journalism and briefings. Enterprise platforms add private data integration and case workflows that GodsView does not offer.
Can a security operations center use it?
Yes, as a wall display of public context. Kiosk mode (Plus) and the video wall at /ops/wall are built for that. It is not an access-control or alarm system.
Does GodsView archive everything?
No. Flight replay (Plus) covers individual aircraft tracks, but there is no full historical archive of every feed.
Is news placed precisely?
Not always. Stories are geocoded to a city or country, which can be imprecise. Read the article.
