The station is one catalog object. This view opens satellites with ISS pass context so the rest of the sky stays secondary unless you asked for it.
Spotting still depends on weather, sun angle, and your horizon. We plot the path. Your eyes do the rest. ISSInfo-style pass lists remain the specialist for “when over my postcode.”
How to use this view
- Launch the globe. Find the ISS label or search ISS.
- Enable ISS passes if you want ground-track context.
- Go outside with the time from a pass predictor if you came to see it.
Data source, update rate, and limits
Public ISS TLE. Pass geometry is computed, not measured from your backyard.
Crew activities, docking, and classified visitors are not on this map.

Where is the ISS right now?
Launch the map. The icon is the propagated position from the current TLE.
Will it fly over me tonight?
Use pass times from a dedicated predictor; we show the orbit, not a guaranteed visual.
Why is it off the photo I saw?
TLE age and your camera delay. Seconds matter at 7.6 km/s.
Can I follow other stations?
Chinese and other cataloged craft appear as satellites if they are in the public TLE set.
Is this official NASA?
No. NASA and partner sites remain authoritative for mission status.
