Power outages by state

155 utilities in 42 states publish live outages to ODIN. Pick a state for outages by utility and county.

Is this every power outage in the US?

ODIN only includes utilities that choose to publish to it. Nationally it is 155 utilities; customers of any other utility (city-owned systems, many co-ops and some large investor-owned utilities) can be out of power without appearing here. Check your own utility's outage map to be sure.

ODIN, the Outage Data Initiative Nationwide, is run by Oak Ridge National Laboratory for the Department of Energy. Participating utilities send standardised outage reports every few minutes; GodsView refreshes them about every 5 minutes.
