GodsView vs ARGOS ATLAS: the short answer
ARGOS ATLAS and GodsView AI are both hosted live world maps that put public cameras, aircraft, ships and world events on one screen, in a browser, with no install. ARGOS ATLAS is the better fit if you want to record camera feeds, see sanctions flags on aircraft and ships, export to GeoJSON or KML, or buy seats for a team. GodsView is the better fit if you want to open the map without an account, track scored incidents in an Ops Center, and get alerts on emergency squawks, vessels or watch areas.
The two are unrelated products. GodsView publishes this article, so we have kept to facts taken from each service's own pages on October 20, 2026, and listed ARGOS ATLAS's strengths plainly.
Below you will find a feature matrix, where each tool leads, prices in their own currencies, the limits both share, and a short guide to choosing.
What is ARGOS ATLAS?
ARGOS ATLAS is a free, browser-based real-time world map available in English and Spanish. Its home page lists 200,000+ public cameras, traffic cameras and webcams in 190+ countries, aircraft from ADS-B with military identification and matching against OFAC-sanctioned aircraft, ships from AIS with flags for vessels that switch off their transponders, conflict frontlines with verified war events, and infrastructure such as power plants, airports, ports, data centres and submarine cables.
It also shows earthquakes from USGS, NASA fire hotspots, WHO outbreaks, prediction markets, financial instruments, weather, satellites and the ISS, a 3D globe mode and control tower audio. The live map is free but asks you to create an account.
What is GodsView?
GodsView is a hosted live map at godsviewai.com built on a 2D map (MapLibre GL and deck.gl) and a 3D globe (CesiumJS). Viewing needs no sign-in. The free tier includes the map, aircraft from the OpenSky Network with adsb.lol and adsb.fi as fallbacks (about every 10 seconds), ships from aisstream.io (about every 30 seconds), satellites, earthquakes, fires, weather and news. The free-to-view Ops Center merges reports of the same event and scores each incident from 0 to 100.
Pro adds alerts, watch areas, a catalogue of about 229,000 public cameras from about 390 source feeds, a photoreal 3D globe, military aircraft, NOTAMs and many extra layers.

Where ARGOS ATLAS is stronger
Camera recording and archives
ARGOS ATLAS records camera feeds on its paid plans. Its pricing page lists 15 cameras with a 24-hour archive on DISTRICT and 150 cameras on DIVISION. GodsView plays live cameras but does not record them, so ARGOS ATLAS is the clear pick if you need to go back and review footage.
Sanctions and dark-vessel flags
Matching aircraft and ships against OFAC sanctions lists, and flagging vessels that disable AIS, gives researchers a head start on maritime and aviation investigations. GodsView does not offer sanctions matching.
Team plans and exports
DIVISION includes 10 seats, 50 geofences and 90 days of flight and ship history, aimed at newsrooms and teams. Paid plans list CSV, GeoJSON and KML exports and briefs delivered by email, Discord and Slack.
Spanish-language support
ARGOS ATLAS is built in English and Spanish, which helps Spanish-speaking researchers and newsrooms work in their own language.
Where GodsView is stronger
No account to start
GodsView opens straight to the map with no sign-in, which is useful on a shared screen or when you send a share link to someone who has never used it.
Ops Center and incident scoring
The Ops Center merges duplicate reports from sources such as USGS, GDACS, NASA EONET, NWS, WHO, IODA and GDELT, scores each incident (critical at 80 and above), shows country risk with travel advisory levels, and exports CSV or JSON or a copied situation report. Our Ops Center guide explains the scoring.
Aviation and alert depth
Pro alerts cover takeoff and landing, emergency squawks 7500, 7600 and 7700, signal loss, military aircraft entering an area, M4.5+ earthquakes, fires, US severe weather, internet outages and market moves. Flight replay plays an aircraft's track at 1x to 40x speed. See how military aircraft tracking works for what those feeds can and cannot show.
Pricing options
GodsView offers a one-time lifetime plan, which ARGOS ATLAS does not list.

Pricing as of October 2026
ARGOS ATLAS lists these plans on its pricing page, in euros, with VAT included for EU and UK buyers:
| Plan | Monthly | 12 months | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| OUTPOST | €15.99 | €44.99 | Ad-free cameras, recording, ARGOS AI, geofences, 16-camera wall |
| DISTRICT | €56.99 | €134.99 | 15 recorded cameras, 10,000 AI credits, 7-day history |
| DIVISION | €199 | €809 | 150 recorded cameras, 10 seats, 90-day history |
| AGENCY | €1,049.99 | €10,499 | API and MCP, marked coming soon |
| 24-hour pass | €3.99 once | All cameras, no ads, for 24 hours |
The 12-month prices are presented as discounts of up to 80% off the monthly rate. The page also says the live map stays free with an account.
GodsView has a Free tier with banner ads, a 30-minute live-viewing pause (reload to continue), one AI question a day and two public cameras. Pro is $10.99 a month, $99.99 a year or $199.99 once for lifetime access, in US dollars. There is no free trial. On an annual basis, ARGOS ATLAS OUTPOST is the cheaper entry plan; on a monthly basis, GodsView Pro is.
What neither map can tell you
Both maps rely on public broadcasts, so they share the same gaps. Terrestrial AIS weakens far from shore, some aircraft are filtered or do not transmit, camera positions can be approximate, and conflict layers depend on reporting that can lag or be wrong. Sanctions matches and dark-vessel flags are leads to check against official lists, not findings. Our guide to how live conflict maps work covers verification, and the methodology page lists every GodsView source.
Do not use either map for navigation or emergencies. Follow official agencies for safety decisions.
Who should pick which
- Pick ARGOS ATLAS if you need camera recordings, sanctions flags, GeoJSON or KML export, Spanish-language support or a 10-seat team plan.
- Pick GodsView if you want a map with no account to start, a scored incident register, aviation and watch-area alerts, flight replay or a lifetime plan.
- Use both if camera archives matter to you but you also want scored incidents and alerts on a second screen.

The short version
ARGOS ATLAS is a camera-first world map with recording, sanctions flags and team plans, priced in euros with a low annual entry plan. GodsView is a no-sign-in live map with an Ops Center, alerts and a lifetime option. Both are capable; the right one depends on whether you need to record what you see or be alerted when something changes.
